Don't worry about time off at Christmas!!!


It's that time of year again...the time where we inevitably end up taking 3 weeks off to i n d u l g e...


We also inevitably start to feel like we're failing ourselves somehow, like we don't deserve to rest or enjoy our time off?


We start worrying about the body we've worked so hard on... I'm here to tell you, you don't need to worry!


A couple weeks off the gym, or a couple weeks of sporadic movement sprinkled with good food isn't going to ruin your gains!


3 reasons Christmas is good for your fitness routine...


1. Your body can recover

We all overtrain quite often...convinced more is better. This will give your body a chance to recover + fuel up! Feed those muscles!


2. Your CNS gets a rest!

Your central nervous system can get a full break from the stresses of work, training + just general life!


3. You can refresh your motivation

A year is a l o n g time to stay motivated! A bit of time off + indulgence in the good stuff can really reset your motivation levels!



So sit back, relax + learn to enjoy the rest this year. Don't punish yourself the whole holiday thinking what you should be doing, enjoy what you get to do instead!
