It's time for the Soft Reset...

The seductive idea that you can re-shape your entire life, personality & habits in a single day & live seamlessly as a model human consuming only lemongrass & rocket while getting your 6 rounds of mediation, one book a week & 10km of running in.



We've all done it - all written the lists - bought the ingredients & all given up after a week...

We're going for the Soft Reset

4 weeks of gentle - intentional change







Find your direction - choose what moves the needle for you:


  • Feeling physically stronger

  • Feeling mentally focused

  • Feeling accomplished



Create 3 steps that move you toward your direction...example:


Feeling physically stronger:

  1. Add a form of NEAT (Non-exercise-active-thermogenisis) to my day - 10k steps

  2. Add a day of movement to my week - HIIT class or Pilates session

  3. Add 10 minutes of HR Zone 5 to my week - 10 minute run


Feeling mentally focused:

  1. Lower distraction - No phone within the first 15 minutes of my day

  2. Know your purpose - find small, managble hobbies that fulfill you

  3. Tune in - practice 3 minutes of stillness each night before bed


Feeling accomplished:

  1. Sign up to something that scares you - a pottery class, dance class etc

  2. Learn a new skill - chess, a language, karate!

  3. Be of service to others - a neighbor, your nan!


These are all broad examples but they all contribute to actually making progress to the overarching goal that you first set. We break the main goal (feeling physically stronger) down into managable chunks of actual action rather than a chunky list of reasons you'll never get to where you want to be.


I've included low effort, easy steps as examples as this is the vibe we're going for.
