You train hard, you eat your greens, you're in bed by 9pm BUT STILL you aren't where you want to be?! WTF JESUS??
Well, while I trust you're motivated as hell + doing all you can...I've got a few ideas on what it could be...
1. You're overtraining
When you train naturally your body needs a decent amount of rest - 6/7 days a week is too much! More isn't better when it comes to Cortisol (stress hormone released by exercise + stress) you need to rest to bring these levels down.
2. You're undereating
Less calories = more bueno? Nope. Quite the opposite, if you chronically undereat or under fuel your body, it will hold onto every morsel to protect itself!
3. Your programming is off
We're all different, with different goals. If you're not where you want to be it could be time to switch up your training with different programming to get you back on the right track.
4. Your hormones are unhappy
I've done a lot around hormones recently, for good reason! If they're not quite right, your body won't respond how you want it to. Get these right + you're golden. See my previous blog posts to learn more.
5. It's your outlook!
9 times out of 10 I see people being unnecessarily hard on themselves! They expect too much too soon or are prone to negative self talk. Be realistic about how much you have achieved - if you have a full time job, I have no idea how you even make it to the gym more than once a week!! Celebrate yo damn self!
