We have around 100 years with our body (yay us!) so WHY would we think we can either:
• Spend those 100 years the same shape + size
• Spend those 100 years counting our calories on a special diet
Both are bewildering ideas...
I embrace a give + take approach with my body, over the last 5 years alone my weight has been:
• 80kg
• 62kg
•75kg
•78kg
•72kg
I was a totally different shape/size + composition at each - I was happy at each - I ate totally different diets during each. I understand that in 3 years I will probably look + eat completely differently to how I do now!
One thing that has remained is my patience with my body.
I will try a diet - I've tried several...I've even been 90% raw?!
But the aim is discovering what my particular body enjoys - I don't adopt a restrictive approach with any of my diets, meaning I won't make myself miserable in aid of being a certain weight or looking a certain way.
No sir, life is TOO GODDAMN SHORT for that bullsh*t
If you want to mix up how you eat, do it in a healthy way, try cleaning up your diet before you start working on calories, I guarantee you'll notice a bigger change than if you take a calories in vs calories out basis!
